Entain Plc has this morning informed investors of new directorate changes governing the FTSE100 gambling group.

In an update to corporate stakeholders, Entain welcomed Stella David and Vicky Jarman as new independent non-executive directors.

An expert in mass-market enterprise strategies, David is the former Chief Executive of heritage Scottish whiskey distillery William Grant & Sons (2009-2016) and has served as Global CMO of Bacardi Ltd (2004-2009).

She maintains a diverse governance experience having served as a non-executive advisor to Domino’s Pizza, New Look Retail, Nationwide Building Society and Homeserve Plc.

Meanwhile, strengthening its financial strategic oversight, former Lazard and Co investment banking executive Jarman will assist Entain’s directorate as a non-executive advisor.

She currently serves as a non-executive director of Signature Aviation plc and Great Portland Estates. A KPMG qualified corporate accountant, Jarman has previously served as chair of the audit committee for the UK plc’s of Equiniti Group, Hays and De La Rue.

“I am delighted to welcome Stella and Vicky to the Board of Entain. Between them they offer a hugely additive variety of skills, perspectives and experiences gleaned from many different roles and industries,” said Entain Chairman Barry Gibson.

“We now have a truly exceptional Board that will help Entain realise its clear and ambitious strategy for sustainability, growth and innovation.

The appointment of David and Jarman was followed by the announcement that Stephen Morana had chosen to end his five-year tenure as a company non-executive director. He will pursue a new executive role at online automotive purchase platform Cazoo.

“I would also like to thank Stephen for his huge contribution to Entain over the past the five years, as well as his counsel and help to me personally. I wish him all the very best for the future.” Gibson added.
