By | June 17, 2021

Latvian players have got good casino news – all brick-and-mortar casinos are allowed to reopen and continue their operation.

It was a long period for casinos as they were closed back in 2020. Starting from November, Latvian gamblers didn’t have an opportunity to visit such premises. Now betting offices, gambling halls, and other establishments are permitted to have visitors.

Further casino operation totally depends on their owners

Although gambling venues have got permission to open their doors for customers, the Latvian government emphasizes that their work is determined by how the operators will comply with the requirements. Land-based casinos will have to follow certain rules, which won’t be new for visitors. Among them are social distancing and a limited number of players in the venue.

In addition to basic healthcare rules, casinos will also have to abide by other requirements. For example, they can provide services during fixed hours – from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is expected that the COVID-19 restrictions will be relaxed soon, and working hours will change.
