Internet Vikings has grown its footprint within the South East Asian market after launching a new cloud hosting platform in Singapore.
The new platform will enable Internet Vikings to strengthen its offering to Internet Service Providers (ISPs), iGaming operators and ecommerce platforms across the region.
“We are very excited to expand our network into one of the largest tech hubs of South East Asia to serve an active community of businesses and organisations with our VMware backed cloud hosting,” commented Victor Jerlin, Internet Vikings CTO.
“With the new data centre in Singapore, Internet Vikings is improving the quality of its services to customers operating in Asian market by ensuring redundancy and low latency.”
According to the European global cloud hosting provider, the launch of its new data centre will also ‘provide better performance and more direct connectivity options for latency-sensitive customers that require higher bandwidth’.
In 2020, Internet Vikings established its presence within the markets of ASEAN countries, having launched a data centre in Taipei.
Including its centres in both Singapore and Taipei, the company now has seven hubs across the world, including Amsterdam, Oklahoma City, São Paulo, Stockholm and Sydney.
Peter Ekmark, Internet Vikings CEO, added: “The data centre in Singapore is the first one on the list of points of presence we are opening this year, but definitely not the last one.
“Our plan is to maximise our network following the vision of Internet Vikings – to be a leading managed service provider in hosting and online brand protection.”
