As it has been informed in the latest news dedicated to betting companies, Entain considers the opportunity to buy some of the William Hill assets.

The company isn’t the only bidder and even not the first one. However, if the deal is made, the gambling industry giant will get a considerable share of the UK market.

The company already has 40% of the UK market

It is worth mentioning that Entain is mostly interested in the assets not related to the US, Great Britain is a target region for the operator. It has already got almost half of the market, but the deal with William Hill will help it to strengthen its positions there.

Earlier, one of the world’s biggest bookmakers has been taken over by Caesars Entertainment. Now the company wants to settle a debt by raising funds through selling a part of the William Hill assets. Operators interested in this offer have twelve months to bid for it. Among the companies that want to acquire the assets is Apollo Global Management, which is already competing with Entain for the Tabcorp share. Experts say that Apollo has more chances to get the William Hill assets.
