Entain has reported 12.75 million wagered bets through the Coral and Ladbrokes brands at the Grand National. According to the company, such an insane number was caused by the players’ return after three years of restrictions because of the pandemic. Find more news on the GBC Time website.
Entain sees these restrictions as the motivation for an even bigger interest in wagering activity.
The second day of the horseracing event was the most charged. There were 4.1 million placed bets. Considering the sum, the operator has seen a 72% increase compared to 2021.
The total number of active Coral and Ladbrokes online customers was 538 000.
Entain’s Deputy Director of Digital, Dom Grounsell, has noted that the operator was trying its best to organize one of the most memorable events for wagers fans. He’s also mentioned the Grand National significance, even after the three-year ban.
