According to the latest casino news, more authorities and regulators set a course for the elimination of illegal gaming in the industry. The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has demanded local internet service providers (ISPs) pay more attention to illegal offshore gambling sites. Now such sites will be blocked more often.
This decision was made by the ACMA after a large number of complaints about some services. When the ACMA held an investigation, the Interactive Gambling Act (2001) violation was defined.

The Australian Authority wants to make the gambling market in the country safer for the citizens. That’s why in November 2019, the ACMA made the first requirement for blocking illegal sites. Since that time, it has blocked 295 gambling websites.
Despite the rules against offshore gambling that were set in 2017, users still can face this kind of web resource, according to the Login Casino site. However, the number of illegal services that have left the Australian gambling market is expected to increase. There were more than 140 services, which stopped their activity in the country.
The ACMA has also appealed to the users. It has been reminded that even if the product looks legal, it doesn’t mean the customer protection will be working great.
