Yesterday was a very profitable day thanks to a 4-1 record. Darn that Killian Hayes, I thought it was worth a shot.
We have a tight schedule of just six games this evening as we recover from celebrating a Georgia victory over Alabama in last night’s College Football Playoff championship tilt. The Minnesota Timberwolves are playing tonight so maybe we can run with some Ant-Man props…if they make sense.
Here is a look at the NBA props that stand out from tonight’s slate.
Top NBA Props for Tuesday, January 11
The NBA props listed below are from BetMGM.
NBA Prop Pick #1: D’Angelo Russell Over 18.5 Points (+100)
The Timberwolves are on the rise. They have snuck up to .500 at 20-20 and the offense has been rolling of late too, with 135 and 141 in points in the last couple of games.
We were on Russell at this same points total and price point last week in Minnesota’s second game against OKC. It was also Russell’s second game back from a COVID absence and he came through brilliantly with 27 points.
Russell scored 22 in their last game against the Rockets, and the Pelicans are unlikely to provide much resistance.
NBA Prop Pick #2: Karl Anthony Towns Over 24.5 Points (-105)
Towns definitely seems right after a visit to the health and safety protocols, and this one is right at his season average. So, we are not asking for too much, especially against the Pelicans. He has 25, 28, and 32 points against them this season.
NBA Prop Pick #3: Jonas Valanciunas Over 12.5 Rebounds (+100)
JV remains one of the most underrated players in the game. I suppose that is not a surprise given that he has played in Toronto, Memphis, and New Orleans.
Speaking of Toronto, he just grabbed 17 boards in his last game (against the Raptors) and this number is well within his ability. Towns is a solid rebounder but Valanciunas is fourth in the NBA in rebounding.
NBA Prop Pick #4: OG Anunoby Over 4.5 Rebounds (+105)
The Toronto rotation is going to be a little tighter tonight against Phoenix with Scottie Barnes and Gary Trent Jr. out. That can only help give a few more minutes to the core of Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby.
All of their scoring props seemed very fair but this rebounding number seems soft. This should be a brisk game with lots of possessions. Plus it is below his season average and you get a great payout. He has had 5+ rebounds 14 times in 22 games this season.
NBA Prop Pick #5: Jeremiah Robinson-Earl Over 8.5 Points (+100)
OKC is a team I am still trying to figure out. They are actually very profitable even though they do not win much. Figuring out individual production is a challenge too. Robinson Earl is just a rookie and his variance has been wide.
On Friday he failed to make a shot and posted 0 points in 25 minutes of action. He followed that up with 12 on Sunday against Denver, his fourth game with 10+ points in the last 6. He is worth a shot tonight.
