Today’s NBA Prop Picks: Tuesday, December 21, 2021

By | December 21, 2021

We had a very profitable 4-1 record with yesterday’s NBA props, so hopefully you got on some of those winners.

It is not too early to make New Year’s resolutions and I am officially off of Royce O’Neale for 2022. It is not that he isn’t a useful player–he is–but as a “glue guy” it is hard to predict his productive moments.

I know the NBA feels like it is coming apart at the seams, but we have five games on the schedule tonight. Here is a look at some players and props that stand out for games this evening.

Top NBA Props for Tuesday, December 21

The NBA props listed below are from BetMGM.

NBA Prop Pick #1: Damian Lillard Over 26.5 Points (-110)

Lillard is not having a good season, but he is still one of the most explosive scorers in the NBA. He is officially questionable, but with CJ McCollum out they need him as much as ever.

Dame has scored 31+ points in three of his last four games and gets to play against a New Orleans team that is bad defensively. Devonte’ Graham is not going to be able to slow him down once he gets going.

NBA Prop Pick #2: Mikal Bridges Over 10.5 Points (-110)

With the Suns whole again thanks to the return of Devin Booker, Bridges might be the odd man out in terms of shot opportunities some nights.

I still like him in this spot though because they are going to need him to play defense on LeBron James. That should keep his minutes right where you are looking for him to push past double-digits in the scoring column. He has been over this mark in four of the last five games too.

NBA Prop Pick #3: Brandon Ingram Over 24.5 Points (+100)

This is just a smidge over his seasonal average and similar to Lillard above, the Pelicans get to take on a weak Portland defense.

Ingram is the go-to scorer for New Orleans, and he is a crafty scorer who can get buckets in lots of different ways. He has been over this total six times in the last ten games, with a game right at 24 as well. If both teams score 110 points, there is no way he is not in the 20s.

NBA Prop Pick #4: Devin Booker Over 23.5 Points (-110)

With Booker back, the Suns are fully healthy for the first time in a while. When that is the case, they have one of the best lineups in the game for sure.

Booker played only 26 minutes in his return to action the other night against Charlotte. There was no reason to push it as the game was not in doubt. The Lakers should give them more of a game and if he gets to 30 minutes the point total looks solid.

NBA Prop Pick #5: DeAndre Ayton Over 15.5 Points (-120)

The NBA is all about matchups. In this one, Ayton should be able to do some damage against DeAndre Jordan of the Lakers. Jordan was the only big man who played for the Lakers in their last game with Anthony Davis out and he cannot keep up.

Even if they give Dwight Howard or Jay Huff some run, Ayton should be able to have his production at seasonal averages (almost 17 points per game). We are heavy on Phoenix today but that is because I am not expecting much resistance from the Lakers.
