  • #4 LOOSE GOOSE (6-5) is an obvious player here. He makes sense on speed figures.
  • #5 CRACK THE CODE (6-1) is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. He goes out for the Duarte barn and gets Rodriguez in the irons.
  • #2 STRASBOURG (5-1) seems to be running for the minor placings in this contest. He has to be respected going out for the combination of Delgado and Juarez.

  • #6 AMITY ROAD (5-2) appears to be a major player in this race. He should be sitting in the second tier of runners and looking to make one well timed run at the leaders. This one has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.
  • #4 MY GAL VAL (6-1) is the best price of the contenders. He has to be respected going out for the combination of Linder and Haddock.
  • #5 JET SPEED (7-2) looks reasonable enough here. Hemingway and Diaz can be dangerous in these maiden claiming races.

  • #2 INSATIABLE (5-2) could be in with a shot in this race. She makes sense on speed figures.
  • #7 BAND SWEETHEART (8-1) is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. She seems to fit well enough here on class.
  • #6 TEEN DRAMA (7-2) feels like a boom or bust runner. She may win or she may speed and fade out the back. She could be a dangerous threat to get loose on the front end. This one has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.

  • #1 FROSTED FAITH (1-1) gets the top selection. He has the pedigree to be a major player in this spot. This one has really consistent pace figures which should work well in a moderately paced race.
  • #2 HE’S GOT JUMP (12-1) is a price horse and isn’t without hope. He runs evenly and looks to get a very fair pace scenario here. This one has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here.
  • #4 CHIEF ENGINEER (8-1) is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. He looks like a grinding type that could just find a spot in the 2nd tier and carry it around the track.
  • #3 OUR PRIDE N JOY (7-2) only has 2 starts under the belt and could take a step forward here.

  • #1 POWER ATTACK (4-1) is the top pick. Based on speed figures this one is a major factor and a great value.
  • #6 SHARP AZA TACK (5-2) should improve off the first start and looks dangerous here. The maiden breaker was impressive, but this is a jump up. This one has to be respected going out for the combination of O’Neill and Rendon.
  • #2 JEREMY’S JET (3-1) should be competitive in this spot. He goes out for the Mcentee barn and gets Jimenez in the irons. This one has races good enough to beat this group.
  • #5 BART’S DREAM (5-1) should improve off the first start and feels like a fringe contender in this spot. He has really consistent pace figures but I worry a bit about how much kick he’ll have in the lane.

  • #11 TEEWINOT PASS (10-1) is a price horse and isn’t without hope. He has tactical speed and can sit just off the leaders for a stalk and pounce trip. This one has really consistent pace figures which could work to his favor if they set moderate fractions up front.
  • #9 HARPOON HARRY (4-1) isn’t without hope. He has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts.
